Sunny weather, temperature like in spring have been the outside condition at the race at Tower 42. Inside, in the staircase it was like always: dark and around 20 degrees. but this doesn't matter. After 3:57,96 Minutes I finished fastest and set a new race record. So this was the third wonderful race within the last weeks, the third victory in the third continent. So now it is time for training. Looking forward to this period.

The run up at the tower 42 takes this year for the third time place. It will take 183meters altitude and 972 stairs to climb the longes run up in the english capital. In the last year there have been some international runners at the race. This year I also expect, that it will be a good challenge there. For me it is the third premiere within the last 6 month, after Ho chi minh and Sao Paulo. Looking forward to this event in europe.
This year many things has changed at the Empire State Building run up. The race moved from tuesday to wednesday and from morning to 8pm in the evening. But the route up to the observerdeck was the same as every year. And for everyone the same. This year I came in in position and in a time of . This was really a wonderful race and makes me really happy. I changed some things this year in my training. Set up a new concept with a partner that is called Stressless Running. There we find a way to bring 100% performance in the job and also in the sport. The wonderful thing is, that you will be in personal balance and so much more successful. So that is the fundament for the program, we will launch in a couple of weeks. This was also the fundament for this victory again at the ESB Run up, the seventh in a row. From the start I was leading the field and it was going very well. But at the end it was become harder and I was glad to finish first in 10:28 min. Second place goes to Christan Riedl, also from Germany.

The run up is legendary, it has tradition to run up thr Empire State Building. For the actual race I took some weeks and month time to train for that event. For 1576 steps and 320 meters altitude climb will everyone need a very good condition to be able to race in the leading positions. For the first time the race will be a night race. At 8pm local time and 2am (9.2.2012) german time the race will start at the fifth avenue.

It was an intensive race. 140 meters full speed climb up to the heliport of the Abril Tower. 672 stairs where everyone could show, what he or she has trained for. For me it took 3:01 minutes and with that time I won the race. It was a wonderful trip to Brazil and my first victory on that continent.
