Corrida Vertical in Sao Paulo

Original the run up was planed on the begining of last Dezember. Right now my training is focused on the Empire State Building Run Up, but the race in Sao Paulo will be a good test and will helps me to get into a perfect shae for New York. The sprintrace will be about 140 meters altitude climb and 672 steps up to the heliport above the mega city Sao Paulo.

1st place in Großweier

After 32:12 minutes I was able to finish my first race and win this also. At the new course with two laps, I was in the lead from the start. In the finish it was 2,5 Minutes differences between me and the second runner. As in the last years, it was this year again a good opportunity to check the personal fitness level. Gald with the result I willl now continue training for the Empire State Building Run Up.

Cross-Country skiing and merry Christmas

Wintertime is also the time for skiing. In younger years I took the lift to the top of the mountains to ski down the slope, today I am prefering the cross-country courses. Cross-country skiing is not so fast but the race to the top is more intensive and more beautiful. Especially if you are not alone. With my team members Anna and Lisa I spent a great week at the Feldberg. Perfect courses, with more than 100km, were the basic for a great training week. Now I am ready for Christmas. I wish everyone a silent and calm time. Maybe not only I will take the time for a little digestion run. Merry Christmas!

Speech at the University of Karlsruhe

Sport is not just a wonderful hobby but for many people even a profession. The students of the KIT are studying for years to find a job in the huge field of sports. There are many possibilities but sometimes not enough possibilities after having studied, therefore the students are presented early enough chances for their work life.

Today I am going to have a speech with the subject "How to make sports to a business model- creative initiator meets competitive sports". With the help of my business case I am going to explain how to make it from university to a company or to autonomy. Moreover the speech is going to be about the individual competences which are needed for these steps.

1. place at the Vietnam Bitexco Vertical Run

It is one of the most iconic skyscrapers around the world CNNGO published. Today there was the first towerrun on the Bitexc Financial Tower. In groups of 10 to 15 runners, everyone startet in the lobby of the tower. In 4:51,1 minutes I finished the races in the fastes time and won the race up in the sky in Ho Chi Minh City. A really incredible race and as a additional prize I was allowed to have a look from the Helipad, in 191 meters altitude a really unforgettable moment. Pictures to that event in the Galerie.
